Animephile Rating: C

I really like both songs, but the second one sounds too "enhanced."

On an unrelated note, I've been going back-and-forth between looking at waveforms and listening, and I'm finding interesting correlations between sample placements and sound quality. Obviously, it's not a simple relationship, but there are certain visual signatures of a waveform (both statically zoomed in view and real-time scope view) that indicate annoying sound quality.

I'm catching myself not enjoying the music at all because I'm too preoccupied with technical details. If majority of media I buy (both video and audio) were of decent quality, I wouldn't be in this position. I know the world is getting worse and worse for the unignorant (sic), but this is ridiculous. By the way, there's no particular reason why I'm writing this on this particular CD listing. It just happens to be the last one I'm listing today.
