Obviously, first things first. I'm free!!! I'm *done* buying Japanese music CDs!!! 2-stars on the last artist I was actively following. Okay, so I'll still probably pick up SACDs, but that's different.
It's a good thing I'm not attending one of her in-store events in Japan. I would have handed her the CD and said I don't want it because sound quality is unacceptable. That would probably make her cry or something. Nothing personal, but I'm just that kind of a weirdo, which is why I say it's a good thing I'm not there.
Looking back, her previous single wasurenaide (Lantis) wasn't bad at all, and the one before that BLUE (King Records) was pretty good, too. In fact, the two songs on BLUE single got *worse* on the CD-layer of her album. Thankfully, the SACD-layer version on that album is better, but not by much, especially for the second song, "Tsubomi -Blue Dreams-." The negative trend is undisputable.
Well, it was fun while it lasted. I enjoyed AquaPlus Live & Festa 2008.
