Comments:
Wow! What a rush! There is one disappointing thing about the last disc
involving a group of nice people. I don't want to give out too much since
people are so easily upset when I give out spoilers. Even though I do not
know for sure, I have faith in Vandread producers that those people will have
meant something significant in the 2nd Vandread series.
What NEAT animation and character drawings! It's a pleasure watching this
stuff through dScaler. Once I get my Panamorph, I'll be able to stretch the
overlay to make it pseudo anamorphic.
I read some people saying that they'd take Gatekeepers over Vandread. Not
that I care, but man, do they need their brains checked. Okay, okay, everyone
has their opinions, but this is just too far out there. Vandread doesn't have
enough character development, they say. I don't think these people have the
grasp of the situation. Sure, it's far-fetched to separate men and women the
way they did, but this is anime. You first accept that such a thing happened
and once you do, I think you can understand why the characters act so
strangely. Deep inside, the characters know what's going on. I think the
characters develop heck of a lot. Besides, it's not even over yet. There
isn't enough drama, you say? What did you expect? One of the reasons
Vandread is such a pleasure to watch is because the show knows what it's
created for. Sure it's not created to tell you the "meaning of life and
everything (R)." It's just very entertaining in many levels. Isn't that one
of the important aspects of being alive? Hmm, I guess it does say something
about the meaning of life. Besides, I know of no other show, be it anime or
not, that is as neat as Vandread is.
I wonder if these same people who hate Vandread love "Love Hina...." Yeah! I
managed to put in a small Love Hina Bashing(TM)! Okay, okay. It's not my
best Love Hina Basing(TM).
