Box again contains 3 discs, two of which are basically identical to the individual release volumes 3 and 4 (VPBY-15347 and VPBY-15348). The last disc is only for the box and contains another short joke episode, creditless ending for the joke episode, Utawarerumono encyclopedia 1 (sono toki Tusukuru ga ugoita), and extra trailers. Bonus episode is somewhat weak both in content and animation quality. Final punchline is really funny, though. And as far as I can remember, this short episode is the only place with somewhat lacking animation quality. Rest of the series maintains good animation quality.
Peace sure doesn't last long. I guess that's how human race is. Bad guys in this series aren't all that interesting though. But then, most leaders are really stupid and/or nutty, so I guess one could consider it realism. Unfortunately, realism isn't all that interesting. Go figure.
We get a whole bunch of new characters. Urutorii, Kamyu, Karura, and Touka are all introduced within these episodes.
