If I can't trust Ghibli, whom can I trust? Disney, I guess.
Look at the glorious feathering below. Ignore the compression artifact
because most of it is caused by jpeg compression. I just wanted to show you
the big full-resolution picture. It is anamorphic. Note how there's fair
amount of black border around the picture. It seems to be intentional. It
seems useless to me. It's not even uniform once it is squeezed for anamorphic
viewing. Makes no sense, does it? Somebody better get fired for this botched
job. Picture quality-wise, it is virtually flawless, but heck with that. It
deserves an F for being interlaced and it sure gets it.
