Comments:
As with Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou discs, video and Japanese audio
streams are identical to the ones on R2 DVD. I talked with a
friend about it and I do not believe this is legit. DVD
compression is a costly work that is usually contracted out to
external companies like Technicolor, CinramPOP, and Pioneer. I
highly doubt that DVD Ani paid the Japanese companies that did
compression for these MPEG stream. Not only that, they put
full-length songs in many different menu items. Some of these
songs are from To Heart games, which for sure require different
licensing agreement. This will be my last DVD Ani purchase
unless I can make sure that they had the right to do these
things.
Image1: Box comparison. If you look closely, you can see the case
image is borrowed from discs 1, 2, and 6 of the R2 discs. Again,
R3 wasn't packed very well, so the box is squished.
Image2: Case comparison. R3-DVD2 borrows from R2-DVD2.
Image3: Silkscreen art is different. R2 has unique drawings, but
R3 just borrows from the case images.
