First of all, for something that costs Y5,000 for 30 minutes,
animation is just not good enough. That alone is a good enough reason
for me not to recommend it.
Another thing I don't like is the casting. In the CD drama, Kawasumi
Ayako voiced Misaki and Asano Masumi voiced Ai. I don't think
Asano-san felt quite right as Ai, but Kawasumi-san was perfect as
Misaki, to a point where I thought it was kind of scary.
This time, Asano-san is voicing Misaki! Actually, it's not such a bad
fit. Asano-san is a very straight-forward kind of person, so it's not
all that strange she would be doing a role like Misaki. Then again,
she sounds too sweet even when she's supposed to be agitated, so
Kawasumi-san would still have been much better for the role.
Casting that I really don't like is of Ai. Tamura Yukari is voicing
Ai! That's just not right. Tamura-san's voice just doesn't feel
right for a fukou na character. Happy, sad, or crazy characters are
fine, but fukou? No no no.
And I liked Tobita Nobuo's Souichirou in the CD drama much better than
Sugita Tomokazu's Souichirou in the anime, too.
Only a serious seiyuu-otaku like me can pick this kind of thing up,
but in many cases, just the casting can tell a lot about the quality
of the whole series.
And finally, even the story was done better in the CD drama. I
haven't read the manga, but regardless of that, CD drama's story flows
much better than that of the anime.

Image2: Do you see two ghosts? You shouldn't be able to. If you do,
turn off your computer NOW and RUN!!!
Image3: Director, Asano-san, Tamura-san, and Sugita-san. They're
there for a purification ceremony.
Image4: Asano-san apparently can't handle sake, and the same goes for
Tamura-san. The difference is, Asano-san sipped it, whereas
Tamura-san avoided it almost completely. At least, that's how I saw
it.
