I was just browsing through used books at K-Books in Akihabara when I came across this. Actually, I knew about this series already, although I forgot exactly where I read about it. It was probably Amazon.co.jp recommendation. The series is recommended by Amano Kozue, the author of the ARIA series. Incidentally, ARIA was released through MAG Garden, too, but I honestly don't believe it has anything to do with the recommendation.
Tabi is having a hard time fitting in to her current school life. One school day, she (intentionally) takes the train going away from her school in order to go meet her old friend. When she arrives at the town where her old friend lives, something is wrong. I don't think I can talk about the details any more without spoiling it. What I will say is that the situation reminds me of those mystery themed episodes in ARIA (and AQUA). I can really see why Amano-sensei recommends this series.
