Wow! It's freakin' amazing! I've watched and read a bunch of other time-travel stories before, but most were either simplistic or had huge plot holes. Although I didn't notice any, maybe this one has holes, too. No matter, I'm amazed that anyone can come up with such a tangled up and overlapping time line_s_ while keeping things coherent.
Despite all that complicated events, this story really comes down to one character. I can understand why Asakura (in that other space-time) couldn't just leave her alone. Even though we all know that she's more than capable of managing by herself, she has that aura around her that makes people want to take care of her. She doesn't need to feel lonely, though, because she's most certainly not alone, and she should know that by now.
By the way, current set of "corners" in the SOS-dan Radio Shibu have much to do with this volume of the novel. I wonder what percentage of the people sending in postcards/mail to the radio show actually read this novel because I feel that most of the sent-in materials don't make much sense. Maybe I'm just taking things too seriously. Any good advice for someone in despair, and any strange "John Smith" may be enough for most. I wish I can come up with a better one, though.
