Comments:
Mito is everything that it isn't! It's for kids, but it's not for kids. It's
original, but it's a parody. It's brilliant, but it's dumb! It's new, but
it's old! It's high-tech, but it's not!
One thing is for sure. It's one hell of an anime!
I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with an anime as I was with
Mito. I HAD TO order the second season immediately and it had nothing to do
with the fact that I wanted to fill that DVD box.
I just love the seiyuu assignments for this series. Kobayashi-san (Sara, Love
Hina) is perfect for the role of Nenga Masatsuki. I didn't like her as Sara,
but for Masatsuki, she's perfect. Tsuruno-san (Mimi, Buttobi CPU) was also a
great pick. As always, I love Kasahara-san's character. There's even
Minami-san in this show.
Technically, I think they could have done a better job with the DVD.
Strangely, that lack of quality actually works well for this series. What a
wacked out comment!
Image1: Black-level is pretty far off and it could use more contrast and less
noise.
Image2: Oops. A major transition artifact.
