Comments:
This is the continuation of the original Mito series. These DVDs were
actually released before the original series DVD-box.
Animation became a bit sloppier compared to the original series. It's
not intolerable by any means, but it's definitely noticeable. Story
also lacks the charm and energy of the original series. It is still
interesting and entertaining, just not spectacularly like the original
series. One definite plus is the pseudo interviews that Kobayashi-san
does with directors and seiyuu of the series. This was the first time
I actually saw Kobayashi-san (Sarah, Love Hina). I was pleasantly
surprised. She's really cute... in a rubber ducky kind of way. (See
Image 2) I was disappointed that she didn't interview Kasahara Rumi
san, though.
Image1: Do you see how simplistic and almost sloppy the drawings
became?
Image2: Kobayashi-san reporting for closure after one of the pseudo
interviews. It was shrank to half-size because interlacing artifacts
were hurting my eyes.
