I wasn't really going to get the manga version, but when I learned that it was licensed for North American release, I got this strange stubborn feeling in me that forced me to buy it.
I always liked the characters of Sola, both the design and the behavior. However, art for the manga version feels a bit too, childish. I don't have a problem with Super Deformed designs when they're called for, but they're used too often and in wrong places. Also, the layout is haphazard and not very functional. I'm still going to keep following it, though, because I like the more aggressive story telling of the manga and want to know what happens in the next volume.
Hopefully, Mana will be featured more in the next volume.
