For your information, Okojo-san (name:Kojoppi) is of species Mustela
Erminea, which means he is an ermine. While I was happily owned by
two ferrets, I did learn a little bit about ermines. Ermines are not
domesticated and should not be kept in a home; however, evidences
suggest they can adjust fairly well to living in a human home. Again,
that doesn't mean it's okay to do so. Ermines are smaller than
ferrets in general, so I'm surprised they didn't depict that in the
anime. Then again, who cares? It's such an entertaining low-cost
anime.
