It was almost on a whim that I bought this. It turned out to be a neat purchase for me.
First of all, video is not totally messed up like those recent King Records live DVDs. It does have its problems (major ghosting in the image, below average compression, camera shake on far away cameras - ever heard of image stabilization?), but it's WAY more pleasing to watch than those messed up King Records DVDs. 16:9 aspect ratio also does wonders for the experience, too.
And, Yukarin sings _very_ well. It almost makes me wonder if they're playing tricks with the sound, but I don't think they are. Certainly, many of her songs aren't all that well suited to hyper active live concerts, but nobody said seiyuu concerts have to be hyper active.
One thing that caught my attention is the video monitors that are scattered around the stage. Yukarin stares down at them once in a while, most likely to pick up the lyrics. I don't see _any_ problem with that. Heck, I'm the type who can't remember lyrics at all. I just think it's interesting.
I've always liked Yukarin (Tamura Yukari, not Fukui Yukari, although I also like that other Yukarin), but after watching this, I've become a bigger fan. I'm going to have to pick up more of her CDs now....
Between the monitor speakers, you'll see a display. Mmm, no need to worry about forgetting lyrics....
