As far as I know, this album has nothing to do with Kan'no Youko. I haven't followed either Kan'no-sensei and Sakamoto-san for a while, so I don't know what happened, but either way, the resulting CD is very different from her earlier albums.
For the most part, songs on this CD are on the "safe" side. What I mean by that is that they sound fine even on the first listening. Kan'no-sensei's songs tend to confuse me at first, with them growing on me more and more as I listen to them. I don't feel that I will grow to like the songs on this CD any more than I already do after the first listening. That is not to say that I don't like them.
