Comments:

It was shot 60 fields per second, but they deinterlaced it and put 30 frames per second on the DVD. For anything with a lot of fast movements, like live concerts, it's definitely desirable to leave it at 60 fields per second because you lose less information that way. DCDi can do an amazing job with such material anyway. If progressive is desired, it should've been shot at 30 frames per second. They did just fine with the Live Attraction DVD. Why go backwards? It's not even funny how much better Live Attraction DVD looks compared to this.

I've watched this over ten times in its entirety, and I watched some chapters even more times. I don't think I've watched anything else so many times except maybe "To Heart." I really really hope they do a better job with video mastering for the next concert. A widescreen version wouldn't be a bad idea, either. By the way, these things are simply no good on a little TV. There's just no way to get the full enjoyment out of this kind of video without a large display and a nice sound system. Obviously, actually being there can't be beat in many ways, but there're some benefits to being able to watch it over and over, too.

Moving on to the more important topic, I can't overstate the importance of all the other members of the group in making this so enjoyable, and I felt bad that I only focused on Nana-chan in my main listings, so I decided add a completely different listing for all the other members.

Some notes first. The chorus group is called "Sachi Bayashi" for the main concert for obvious reasons, but from what I can tell, Ishida-san was not featured in any of the other concerts. In all the other concerts, the group was "Double Bayashi," again for obvious reasons. It was actually kind of hard to find a nice picture of Kitabayashi Asuka because she was not part of the main concert and therefore not featured in the first disc. In image00, she's on the left.

Images (move cursor over each image to see short comment):

Ishida Sachi. Chorus & Dance. Only featured in the main concert at Makuhari Event Hall.

Satou Hiroko. I think she's too serious all the time. Could get kind of stressful for her. Can't seem to stay put sometimes. She's one of my favorite dancers (^_^)

Ushirokawa Mika. Lead dancer. She had by far the best self introduction speech. And if you don't know what hot means, you have to watch her move. She's also one of my favorites (@_@)
