Apparently, this was her first large scale solo concert tour, and it sort of shows. She seems nervous at times. However, she moves her hips quite well. No, seriously. I think she does. Call it a charm point or something.
Video quality, despite the fact that it's blended pseudo progressive, is very good in terms of color quality and calm camera work. Audio quality, on the other hand, is not so good. First, it's got about the same dynamic range as her CDs, but with worse frequency response curve. It literally sounds muffled.
In terms of music, she has a few great up-beat songs for live concerts, but majority of her songs aren't all that well suited for live use, so at times, it felt a bit weak, possibly even boring. But don't be too hasty just yet and continue on to the second DVD listing.
Blended fields are easily noticeable whenever there's fast movement, but only if you pause.
When I saw the keyboard set up to directly face the audience in Suara's concert DVD, I thought it felt unnatural for both the performer and the audience. This slanted configuration works much better in my opinion.
Split screen video works wonders! I wish more live DVDs would be edited this way. Multi-angle is unusable, unless all of them can be played at the same time, side-by-side. Apparently, higher profile Blu-Ray players can do this.
