What a timing! This CD was meant to be listened to on a X-mas day. Technically, it was meant to be listened to an year ago in 2004, but I won't worry about such a minute detail ^_^;
I bought this as part of "Yamamoto Maria Appreciation Purchase." What's that you ask? Remember Fanimecon 2004? Flying across an ocean for a two day visit is not an easy thing to do, and I had a great time mostly because she came over. I'd say that's a good enough reason to buy some of her stuff.
Enomoto Atsuko (Atchan) and Yamamoto Maria actually go way back. Atchan is even mentioned in Maria-chan's book, "Hadaka no Kimochi." Well, Maria-chan recently disclosed that they're not "that close" in her radio show, although she was drunk at the time ^_^; Strangely, they haven't officially done too many things together.
Talk portions are somewhat interesting, but the songs are... pretty bad. They're really simplistic. I suppose the lyrics aren't too bad since they're meaningful in their own ways. They each wrote one for themselves, and wrote one for each other. Even the talks may not be all that interesting unless you know little bit about them. For example, knowing Maria-chan's dog's name may be of some help ;)
On a plus side, I love the photos. They look really cute. There aren't too many of them, though. Despite the lackluster songs, I'm giving it a 'C' because the talks are interesting to me, and it's X-mas today.
