I'm not sure how much new footages there are in this, but regardless of that, it's an excellent buy! If anything, this might be better than the original episodes because it's more dense. Many of the original episodes spend too much time on each topic, and this basically gets rid of that issue. Supposedly, this is much closer to the original works as well.
The only thing I miss is the fact that it stops at Ma(ria)Tarou episode. I wish it went on to include Kaga Ai episode.
Set also includes a BGM selection CD (KIZB-28). Both combined, it's a no brainer great buy.
Update: Apparently, a lot of the cuts were redone to line up with the original manga better. And according to what I hear, someone made a mistake with pricing! This is supposed to be more expensive. Just think about it. We've got 68 minutes of video, plus a soundtrack with a drama track, all for Y4,800. What a great deal!
