I think this series is not serious enough. Actually, I like the fact that it doesn't take itself seriously, but it really should take, things it's making fun of, more seriously. But, not all of them, since some of the topics are inherently trivial. Hmm, that didn't come out quite right.
What I mean is that it distributes air time incorrectly among topics, in that too much time is allotted to topics that don't deserve it and too little time is allotted to topics that should be analyzed further. I just don't feel that it's balanced well.
The end result is, it lacks real ups and downs nor deep meanings. It's closer to a mindless entertainment (and not an exceptional one at that) when it could've been much more.
Nice simplified representation of Comike. You wouldn't even realize there are only 4 different cards (plus Zetsubou-sensei desk).
