REC Volume 1

Created/Updated 2006-05-24

Imagine that! A story about a young newbie seiyuu! It's almost a given that I'd be interested in it. After reading a few volumes, I'm finding that both the story and the art are decent. The thing really gets me, though, is our main character, Onda Aka. She is fabulous! What I mean by that is that she's unrealistically cool. She's so extremely open minded and cheerful that I don't think a real person can be that way, especially when she's not in the media-appearance mode. Hell, if there were a real female person like her, I'd fall for her!

But in the end, it's just a fantasy. It's an entertaining one, though, even after considering some annoying, unrealistic moments. Hatakeda is particularly interesting to me. I wonder why....

Starting at page 159 is a different short manga titled, "Gin no Machi no Romantic." From the simpler drawings, I imagine it was an earlier work by the author.

Obi just barely covers the towel, so it makes it look like uncovering the obi would expose more. Evil, I tell ya. They even point that out themselves in the omake section of the second volume.
