Animephile Rating: D (6.5)
- Video Scan Type : progressive (-0.0) -
This is a strange disc. I'd almost say it's "kind of" progressive. It keeps
switching back and forth. Encoder is having a hard time keeping track of 3:2
pulldown. I'll subtract points later.

The fact that it's not REALLY progressive is disappointing. It just keeps
changing between progressive and interlaced. It does so with fairly regular
pattern, though. Strange.
Comments:
There's quite a bit of noise especially during dark scenes. The noise keeps
changing during static scenes, which is very annoying.
First image shows compression artifacts. Look at the guys suit.
Second image is from a interlaced transition frame. Note how the background
picture is solid. Well, that's because it's not moving.
