SOMEBODY recommended this to me, so I bought it. Well, obviously, I don't go around buying stuff recommended by some NOBODY, so the SOMEBODY must've been, well, SOMEBODY. ;^)
I think I'm too old now to really get into this kind of shows that are _really_ meant for young audiences. In fact, when I think about it, this even applies to shows like "Fun Fun Pharmacy." I'm certainly not bored by them, at least the first time I watch them, and I'd love to show them to my child if I were to ever have one, but that won't happen, so I must wonder why I keep the DVDs around. Maybe I'll adopt a kid someday. I hope he/she can understand Japanese.... (Is that the first thing I worry about!?)
Children's shows tend to have extremely colorful characters, literally. Having not-so-colorful background works even better to emphasize the characters.
