I hit the jackpot! This is absolutely wonderful! I'm going to buy
the manga soon and will most certainly buy the anime, too, once it
comes out. It hasn't even started yet, but I'm pretty sure that it
will be made into anime.
Nanaka is a 17-year old girl who has lost 11 years worth of memory due
to an accident. That puts the age down at 6-years, hence the title.
The way she reacts to everyday events reflects innocent 6-year old's
thinking and yet the fact that she looks like a 17-year old girl makes
it easy to see the events from two different angles. One of the most
important theme is the relationship between Nanaka and Nenji. Nenji
is her childhood friend (and more). His take on how to deal with
Nanaka is very interesting. For the most part, he is taking care of
her, yet it's not a one-way thing. I really like the use of Magical
Girl theme that is used to help Nanaka cope with the situation.
This drama features an all-star cast. Horie Yui, Seki Tomokazu,
Hisakawa Aya, Shimada Bin, Miyamura Yuuko, Ohtani Ikue, Honda Chieko,
Inoue Kikuko, and Chiba Chiemi just to name the main ones.
