Originally, Nanaka 6/17 was a two-part short story. This book
contains the original Nanaka 6/17. It has similar, although shorter,
beginning as the longer series, but the rest of the story is mostly
contained in one bunkasai story. This bunkasai story is slightly
different than the one in the longer series and has a simpler ending.
I like this shorter series a lot because it doesn't have any of the
drag that longer series ended up with.
As the PLUS in the title would suggest, this book actually contains 5
different short stories written by Yagami Ken. First one is of course
Nanaka 6/17. 2nd is "Kagami no Kuni no Jennifer," 3rd is "Fortune
Breaker," 4th is "Yoi ko, Warui ko," and the final story is "Watashi
no Zontan." Last two were published in doujinshi. They're all fairly
short, but pack a lot of punch in terms of character and story. I can
recommend this book to just about anyone, especially to people who
liked the complex side of the Nanaka 6/17 story.
