This is like a mini-album for Nana-chan. In the first track,
Nana-chan is speaking as the character, Chisato. In the last track,
she is speaking as herself. In it, she says that there're deeper
meanings to all the songs. Just listening to the songs, it's hard to
believe her, because the songs aren't that great. Looking at the
lyrics more carefully, I do kind of believe her. I actually like
these lyrics more than the lyrics for most of her J-Pop-like songs.
Those are so trivial whereas the ones on this CD are awkward and
strange. I'll take anything over trivialness.
Either way, it's kind of interesting to me that a bad song, sung well,
is much more tolerable than a good song, sung badly. Nana-chan,
sugoi!
Do you know what termidore (TERUMIDO-RU) is? For one thing, it's not
Termidor(R), which is an insecticide brand for killing termites.
Lobster Termidore is, umm, seafood. I _think_ that's the right one
for this song. I told you it was awkward.
Apparently, Nana-chan was graduating from high school when this CD was
made. According to her own words, she decided to become a
professional voice actress instead of continuing with her education.
I'm making myself feel old by saying this, but I think college life is
interesting enough to be worthwhile regardless of whether it means
anything to a person's future career. Then again, Japanese college is
very different from American college/university, so I guess my opinion
doesn't really count.
Finally, there are some pictures of Nana-chan in the insert. She was
even cuter when she was younger! >^_^<
