After watching 92% of the series at a local anime club showings, I decided that it's worth owning, so I bought the whole thing. I would have waited for a boxset if it weren't for the fact that it's one of the major releases by Sunrise. Did you know that Infinite Ryvius was never re-released? If you want to buy it, you buy the original release. Now, there's a company that really cares about the _paying_ fans!
Strangely enough, despite the fact that it's been a year since DVDs started getting released, I ended up with first pressings for all but the first and the last disc. Ironically, I don't really care about most of the first pressings except for the first disc, which came with an extra DVD. Oh well. I'll try to find one when I visit Japan this year.
While re-watching the whole thing from the beginning, I realized that it moves surprisingly fast. There are so many 12-13 episode series these days with practically no content, so this is a good contrast to that. Imagine that! 26 episodes of real content!
First episode is all about Mikoto getting wet. He he he.
I'm surprised I never noticed the awesome position Chie-chan sleeps in. Flop!
