You know? Momose-san (of course, that's not her real name) writes
manga as her secondary job. In fact, my guess is that she probably
doesn't need to do it to get by, financially. She writes that she
often gets her material by talking to coworkers (she appears to be an
OL) and friends. That explains why her stories are well linked to
reality, although with a lot of twists and simplifications. That also
explains why she tends to write more stories involving Sakura's
coworkers than stories involving Momoko and her classmates. I bet she
has some other source for getting high school material, though.
