Forever...

My first encounter with Savage Genius was Utakata theme songs (VICL-35714). From the beginning, I noticed how well Aa sings. I try not to add too many artists to my look-out list because it can get expensive fast, so I just left them out. I always had them in the back of my mind, though, and when I learned that they were releasing their first album, I went for it (VIZL-190). After listening to it a few times, I realized that there's no excuse for me not to follow them. I might have known that all along, at least subconsciously.

There are many singers involved with anime and games, even excluding seiyuu. Most of them are pretty good. Of course, they had better be since they're supposed to be professionals. Despite that, there haven't been any whom I would consider outstanding. I mean, there're probably thousands of people who can sing at their level, most with non-singing careers.

Enter Savage Genius. Aa and Takumi aren't just another average singer, song writer group. They form something special. And so, I'm going to be following all of their releases. I know I'm a bit late, but better late than never, right?

Oh, "Forever..." is supposed to be the opening theme for "Erementar Gerad," but who cares? Well, I don't.
