First, I only paid Y1,480 for this, and it's even a first pressing version with a DVD (LPR-432). It's one of the few used CDs I picked up while I was in Akihabara.

Sound quality is all over the place. Some tracks are serviceable while many others are not good. Frequency response is generally quite good (not cut off anywhere), but the balance feels off. I always felt that way about a lot of Pioneer titles because they tend to have overly boosted mid-bass sound (boomy without punch). It's somewhat disappointing overall.

The really sad part is, they (Geneon) obviously have perfectly fine version of the songs, yet they put the crap version on the CD. Check out the sound quality of the PV version on the DVD! It's much better! You only get that one song, though. This one is so obvious, I might make them into another example at some point.
