Before anything else, I did manage to watch a few episodes of Minamike anime and I believe it's trivial, worthless junk that induces brain rot. Just in case someone misunderstands, I'm being serious.
However, I like the radio show and its freestyle girliness, so I bought the DJCD.
I love the booklet because it contains photos from each radio episode. It's the first time I've seen this. The only quirk I found with it is that picture for episode 9 is slightly different from the picture that was posted on the animate.tv site. Actually, since I saved the original from the site as well, I get two versions. Not bad!
First-pressing comes with a small (only as tall as CD booklet), but high quality (laminated covers!) 12-page (not including cover) doujinshi written by the three. Small size makes it a bit hard to read, but it's readable. Interestingly, some jpegs posted on the animate.tv site were intentionally blurred, so if you want the real thing, this is the only legit way to get it. Whether owning something like this is meaningful, is another issue altogether.
Content deals mostly with reflecting on (and making fun of) broadcasted episodes, and therefore themselves. For this radio, it works well enough.
Audio is basically monaural. I think they could have used a bit more dynamic range compression. Yes, I'm serious. For speech, it's actually quite useful because proximity microphone produces huge range of dynamics when personality's distance to it varies. Obviously, the ladies aren't sitting still. Interestingly, on cheap equipment, it sounds mostly okay. On high-end equipment, it jumps between "hard to hear" and "too loud for comfort." I guess having a bigger listening room would help....
