This is really strange type of media. It's a CD, but it comes in a keepcase (standard DVD case), and it's got an ISBN number: ISBN4-08-905576-8.

Anyway, I got this used. I'm pretty sure it is a first-pressing version. It comes with little stand-up illustrations of Sachiko and Yumi for your desktop (physical, not computer). Illustrations for the characters are ridiculously cute!

I delayed listing this because, well, I'm lazy. Now that I've read the first volume of the manga and watched first three episodes of the anime, it's time to make some progress.

For the most part, they're all telling the same story. In many places, even the lines match word for word. Even so, there're a lot of subtle differences. The most obvious difference is the pace. Anime has the fastest pace, followed by CD drama, then manga. Of course, the original novels probably have the most information, but I can't confirm that.

Despite the fact that they're all telling the same story, I don't find any of them boring. In fact, I feel that I'd be missing out if I didn't have any one of them. Going even further, I feel that I am missing out because I have not read the novels. Maybe I should buy those, too.

Ueda-san is getting interesting work these days. She sang the ending theme for Sumeba Miyako no Cosmos-sou, Suttoko Taisen Dokkoider (whew!). She's so different as Yumi, you'd never guess they were the same person. Anyway, I think she does a great job as Yumi, especially in the CD drama, such as in the scene where she starts crying.
