Animation is simple, but very well defined and pretty, and I just LOVE
the shuwa (sign-language, literally shu(hand) wa(language)) thing!
There's a lot of extra material, but much of it is different from that
of the U.S. release. I am going to buy that, too, so I'll report on
that when I get it.
Video for the main feature is flawless! Unfortunately, extra material
has terrible fuzziness that gives me a headache. I usually don't
subtract points for extra-related issues, but in this case, it was so
bad, I took 1.5 points off.
Image1-2: shuwa
Image3: Comical-looking background.
Image4: Daichi-san! Note video fuzziness.
Image5-8: Every shuwa moment is replayed in the extra section using
picture-in-picture with Sumie-san's example video. If it weren't so
fuzzy, this DVD would've been faultless.
