It starts out with an eerie story, then a strange story, and ends with
a plain story. None of the stories are really serious, so they're
enjoyable in that sense. I really like the beginning of the first
story and most of the last story because they emphasize the wonderful
mood of rural life.
The whole thing feels kind of plain, which would be a bad thing in
most cases, but for this series, it's actually a good thing. I also
like the side stories of the men getting drunker and drunker. Drunken
men can be so informative ;)
