This is part of the limited edition Madoka Magica Blu-ray (and probably DVD, too) volume 5.
Here's a proof that most people working in the music media industry are a bunch of idiots. Drama tracks are generally recorded, processed, and mastered professionally. They do not apply excessive dynamic range compression on drama tracks. They do apply some, and for speech, it actually makes sense, but they only apply it to make it easier to understand.
On this CD, they had to put both a drama track and a vocal track. If they do what they usually do with the vocal track, which is to compress the hell out of it to the point of clipping everywhere and just put it on the CD, it will be way louder than the drama track. As idiotic as they are, they know people don't appreciate that. So, what do they do? The *reasonable* thing to do would be to not compress the hell out of the vocal track. Actually, that is ALWAYS the reasonable thing to do. But no, they compress the hell out of it anyway. But they still want to level-match with the drama track, so what do they do? They attenuate the compressed vocal track down by 5 dB. If this doesn't prove their stupidity and lack of appreciation for music, I don't know what will. Just look at the second image below.
It still escapes audio quality rating of 1 because the drama track is perfectly fine.
