It is truly unfortunate that I ordered the disc2 and disc3 together.
It's even more unfortunate that I ordered disc4 before I got disc2 and
disc3. These are horrendous! I had to look closely at the DVD to see
if I'm not mistaken about Gainax's involvement. Yup, it's there. I
guess I shouldn't be too surprised after seeing the lame-ass parody
they call Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai. Well, since I already ordered
the disc4, my first box will be filled, but that's the end of
Mahoromatic DVD for me. I'm amazed at people who have been into anime
for longer than I am and yet do not see how terrible they've gotten.
Okay, so there are still worthwhile works, but they're getting more
rare every month. I think this is as good time as any to make the
official announcement that I'm now shifting my focus away from anime
and instead to manga. There are still plenty of great manga out
there.
