I actually have two of these. They are both signed by Yamaga-san and
Akai-san, and were only $30 each at FanimeCon. No way I could pass
that. I'm hoping to get a signed copy of Vol. 2 at 2003 FanimeCon.
Anyway, as Mahoromatic (original TV series) is the last cell-animated
work from Gainax, it involved creating some wonderful artwork for the
series. This book is a proof of that. It is highly recommended.
Note that there is not ISBN number. It is not sold as a book, but
rather as an item. This is why it can't be found on Amazon.co.jp or
Kinokuniya bookweb. Local Kinokuniya did carry a few of them,
however.
