Animephile Rating: B (8.0)
- Video Scan Type : progressive (-0.0) -
Not as good as "Anime Ai no AwaAwa Hour," but better than "Mugen no
Ryvius" DVD 1-3. It's good enough that I watch it using my HTPC with
WinDVD (auto-select).
- Aspect Handling : standard (-0.0)
- Compression : -0.0
- Video Separation : -0.5 -
Some artifacts show up whenever it's not in progressive mode, but it's
VERY minor. I probably shouldn't bother taking that half point off.
- Scene Transition : -0.0
- Calibration : -0.0
- Other : -1.5 -
For sections that aren't progressive
Comments:
I think Daichi-san wanted to relax a bit after doing super wacky
Kodomo no Omocha and super serious Ima Sokoni Iru Boku. Many of the
same voice actresses from those shows appear again in this series but
in happier roles. Well, except for Nakao Azusa-san. She can't seem
to escape the fate of playing tragic characters. If you don't expect
anything while watching this series, it's quite enjoyable. You could
almost get dreamy watching it.
Images are of battle scenes featuring Ran and Myao. They're
spectacular in classic sort of way.
