TV Animation Kanon, Visual Memories

Created/Updated 2007-08-04

It contains lots and lots of full color illustrations, episode guides with small screen caps, character showcases, simplistic cast interviews, and staff interviews. While looking through the book, I realized that Ikeda Kazumi is one of the, if not _the_, most important member of KyoAni. Think about it. I can't imagine KyoAni being successful without her meticulous drawings.

Seriously, KyoAni is mostly just a production house, a very good one, of course. However, it's not really a creative one. Note that I'm not really putting them down. I think it works out very well for a lot of the fans, because their animation is true to the original works they're based on, to an extreme degree. And as such, the animators are their most precious asset. Perheps they'll grow to be more creative over time, but it's questionable whether being more creative would be a good thing. Watching Munto (and Munto 2) may help you make that decision.

Anyway, it also comes with a CD, listed separately under TDEA-6332.
