It's undoubtably cute, but somehow, it doesn't feel as cute without the super cute ending animation sequence. One of the reviews in the Amazon.co.jp for this CD mentioned that, too. It's still cute without the animation, of course.
The extra minus point is due to what sounds to me like excessive range compression. I know most of the current CDs use excessive dynamic range compression, but there are some that are done pretty well, such as My-HiME ending theme single, "Kimi ga Sora datta," and there are some that are extra bad. I'd put this one in the bad category.
