There are some original episodes, some slightly different versions of anime episodes, and some closely matching episodes. Art has really pumped up. It's beautiful, cute, yet packs a lot of punch. This is an easy recommend.
Unfortunately, it appears that there won't be any more volumes. "What the heck!?" was my first thought. It does have a good closure, but I wish there were more. I guess it was never meant to be a long running series. It certainly works as a bonus material for the anime. Actually, it works fine as a stand-alone work, too, but having both is the way to go.
