Did I mention how I love this series? In case I didn't, I LOVE this series. Look at episode 5, for example. Haven't we all had a childhood experience of being sick and missing school? It's such a trivial thing, most people would never even think of making an episode about it. But here it is, and it's wonderfully sentimental. Shows like this are the ones that can stand the test of time. At this point, I would like to remind everyone how wonderful the original "To Heart" TV series is. I know it's off topic, but these two shows are similar in many ways.
Audio commentary for this volume isn't particularly interesting, but when Mako started singing along for the end credit, it just knocked me out with the ridiculous power of cuteness. And she only sang a few verses, too. It's just so wrong that some people can be so cute! (as if I'm complaining)
Unfortunately, no voice actresses take part in the commentary for episode 6.
Shoukichi and Miko? I'm surprised at the fact that I'm surprised at this development.
I'm internally conflicted about whether I would have liked them to use transparency to represent Yurie's out-of-body experience. On one hand, I like the traditional way they did it, but for this kind of thing, it might have been better to make use of some of the latest animation techniques.
