Not worth the money.
Animation is horrible. You'd think at least the first episode would be well animated, but no, it's all crap. There are short scenes here and there that are done well, but the majority of it is terribly animated. If it were backwards, I wouldn't mind paying for it so much. Well, even then, the story is pretty crappy. How can they turn such an awesomely funny manga into this dreadful anime?
First three screen captures are meant to show how horrible the animation quality is. The rest were picked out from decently animated sections in order to show the contrast.
Audio commentary is by Nabatame Hitomi and Asano Masumi. 99% of what they talk about has absolutely nothing to do with the video. In fact, video is just a distraction. You'd get more out of it if you just listened to the audio portion, ignoring the video.
Ogawa's expression is actually cute, in a broken kind of way, but it came out that way accidentally.
Pseudo SD mode. It would actually be acceptable to me if the whole thing were animated this way.
Strangely enough, all the pre-episode shorts are really well animated (although a bit blurry). Why couldn't they animate the whole thing at this quality level?
