Comments:
If you know me, even a little bit, you ought to be surprised that I
bought this. Of course, you don't really know me since you got it
wrong :p
There's really only one reason I bought this. Hakufu is voiced by
Asano Masumi. Of course, there're plenty of shows that she was
featured in that I won't ever buy, so why this one? Because Hakufu is
very similar to actual Asano-san. No, she doesn't go around fighting
people, although I sometimes wonder if she does something similar.
It's really not possible to describe a person directly. Instead, I'll
tell you somethings about Asano-san, so you can get a feel of what
she's like.
- When she first came to a big city (can't remember which one and
am too lazy to look it up again), there were so many people, she
thought there was going to be a matsuri (festival) that day, so she
waited excitedly. When nothing happened, she asked someone when the
matsuri would start. Of course, there was no matsuri. It's just
normal for a lot of people to be in big cities.
- Her usual speech pattern is, well..., straight. She says things
like "omae ga yare," and "kono yarou!" very naturally, because she,
most likely, uses them regularly.
- Her Akita-ben is most likely not an act.
- She gets the most [poporaji] (equivalent of [beep]) in Poporaji
shows.
- She doesn't remember her previous works very well, like her
debut(?) role of Saga (Chiccha na Yukitsukai Sugar).
- She confuses Einstein with Freud.
- She thought Tarantino is a woman director.
- She thought Bill Gates made Apple computer.
Okay, so it doesn't help much. Whatever. I just love Asano-san!
This one received J.C.Staff's quality treatment! Animation, though
often unrealistic, is very good. With Asano-san as Hakufu, excellent
animation quality, and being the only "school kids fighting" anime
I'll ever own, I am going to complete this series.
