Obi says, "cute is justice" or "cute is righteous." I sure can't argue with that. This is one of those books I can easily recommend even to people who can't read Japanese. Just looking at the detailed drawings of individual characters and all the cute clothes they wear is entertaining enough.
Story wise, it tends to be a bit too over the top to be deeply funny. It was true with the CD dramas, too. I'm sure it will work well for some people. I don't hate it, as it works as sort of mindless fun.
