The new special episode has an explosive beginning! No, really! After the explosive beginning, about half of the rest of the show follows the original manga story very closely. Regardless, both episodes are very cute and entertaining. I imagine the entire TV series was basically like this. I guess I sort of missed out.
By the way, at some point, lantis-net.com dropped the practice of using Microsoft DRM'ed format. I don't know exactly when that happened, but I didn't bother visiting their site for so long, I missed out on a lot of their new shows. Another way to look at it is that they missed a lot of advertising opportunities. Once I drop a show, I rarely pick them back up, because there're MORE THAN ENOUGH shows to follow anyway. And I might have been more inclined to pick up Chihara Minori's new album if I followed her radio. Too bad.
Back to the DVD. Audio commentaries are very nice. Ume-sensei should have spoken a bit more, though.
