Comments:
There isn't anything particularly new to say about the series itself.
As I mentioned before, it's a manga-anime classic that every otaku should
own. Now, at the end of each of these DVDs is a seiyuu talk session.
These are newly recorded, so they're talking about an anime they did 8 years
ago. Here's the kicker. On this DVD, there's a guest. How should I say....
I should say, "bikkurishita." Total surprise. I couldn't specifically find
the guest's name on the cover, but well, duh, I know who it is. She says
her name is "Atsumoto Enoko." HA HA HA Very funny! I didn't even need
to hear that mangled up name to know it was Enomoto Atsuko! It turns out,
she's a big fan of Greenwood. It's quite interesting to see how some of the
greatest seiyuu were inspired to pursue the career of voice acting.
Hayashibara-san was impressed by Uchuu Senkan Yamato. Kuwashima-san decided
to become a seiyuu after watching Future Boy Conan. And here's Enomoto-san.
sugoi!
It's the simple things in life, sort of, that make my day. Enomoto-san's
appearance on this DVD Station talk made my day. :)
