I saw the character design on cdjapan site and thought that it looked very pretty so I spent the money on it. Doh! What a mistake. I really ought to be more careful with my purchases. Happy Lesson is actually a game. As we all know, most anime created from games suck. (Look at me be blunt!) Of course, "To Heart" is an exception. Happy Lesson probably isn't that bad compared to some other game-based anime, but it feels too much like Love Hina with the idiot guy surrounded by loads of pretty girls. Just that fact is enough for me to ignore this series in the future. But in the end, it really is a stupid series regardless of its likeliness to Love Hina.
The limited edition disc1 with box comes with 3 discs. First one is the DVD. Second one is a CD-ROM with shockwave navigation and the third an audio CD. It's kind of neat, I guess, but I don't really care for the series, so none of them mean much to me.

First image shows a closeup of one of the female characters. One thing I really didn't like about the animation is the eyes. They're scary. I feel like they're trying to hypnotize me. I guess that means the animation is pretty darn good, but I still don't like it.
Second image shows some background image. It feels so lifeless, doesn't it? Ignore the half naked guy running around, by the way.
