This and the first volume of the manga perfectly lines up. There are a few more things described in this novel though, such as how Yuuichi and Tsukasa became good friends. Of course, this is the original, so that's no surprise.
I was on a company-forced-trip, urr so-called business trip, last week. I was planning to take Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu novel, but due to customs becoming extra tight recently, I did not get the shipment in time for the trip, so I took this book instead.
It's extremely easy to read. Although it's not very gripping, it flows well so it's never boring. It didn't even take a week worth of evenings to read. I suppose I've gotten better at Japanese, too.
No matter, I'll eventually read them all, but for the time being, I'm going to start on Haruhi novels, so....
