Comments:
I ended up buying some (first 6 discs). I'm sure I'll get the last
disc, too, but I haven't decided about the later seasons.
Surprisingly, much of the show is film animated. I haven't watched
them all yet, but cell-less animation gets mixed in more and more as
time goes by. It must've been produced during the transition time. I
love the celled (or at least filmed) portions. Very sharp and
pretty.
As expected, Shintani-san's voice takes some getting used to, but
then, I already like her for other reasons, so I don't have any
problems. First two episodes on this disc are great. I just LOVE
how lucky Millefeuille is. I've never seen "good luck" taken so
far.
Image1: Sharp, simplistic, and generally very pleasing.
Image2: I love the expression on the cat! So subtle yet so cute!
Image3: First encounter.
Image4: This kind of camera angle always works well for me.
Image5: Shintani Ryouko!
